Humanity, Life and Motivation

I believe in living in the present. By that I mean accepting the past and learning from it. It also means being happy now. There is alot to be happy about. I don’t want to fall into the habit of feeling like I will be happy ‘when’ I am at my goal weight, I have financial security, I am in love with a wonderful man I can truly trust, I am out of debt and so on. I am happy in the present. This does not mean I don’t have goals.

  • To get my ex out of my system
  • To be fit and healthy
  • To be a better dog-mum
  • To have my own home
  • To travel to Paris, the Rockies, Nepal
  • To do motivational speaking (lifelong wish/goal/dream)

What is good in my life, What I am grateful for

  • My son
  • My job
  • My salary
  • My furs
  • Living in Australia
  • My lifestyle
  • My goals
  • My health
  • I have some wonderful people in my life

What is not so good

  • The breakup of my marriage  1 May 2008
  • That the man I loved and trusted and believed in betrayed that trust three again and again
  • That it is very hard to get over
  • That I have some debts I need to resolve
  • That I am not very active socially, and keep people at an arms length

I’m pretty lucky really.
